My credit card number was not accepted. What can I do?
Enter the card number correctly, without spaces or dashes. Make sure that the name and billing address on your order match the name and billing address on your credit card. Make sure that the credit card hasn’t expired. Make sure that you haven’t exceeded the credit limit. If your card has a security code, enter it correctly on the payment screen. Ensure that computers at either end of the transaction do not have technical problems. If you use a corporate card, use the name and billing address of the cardholder, not the purchaser. If Internet connection is stable, check your firewall software, maybe it’s conflicting with the installed client application. The easiest way to test it is to disable it and try the connection again. Alternatively you can set an exception for all traffic to our server address. You can also try to reboot your PC. Please, send us a report if you have any issue,we’ll resolve it quick.

Do I need to open a specific port on my router for the SSH tunnel?
No, it is not required to open any port for SSH. Anyway, if you have any issue with your router, contact us with the details about your ISP and router type model, we’ll do our best to help you.
On which platforms is the Pirate Ray client application available?
Pirate Ray works on the currently available versions of operating Windows systems (supported versions of XP, Vista, 7) and also on Linux.
In future we plan to develop Pirate Ray clients for all known operating systems and platforms.
Is it possible to encrypt all web traffic, besides torrent protocols?
Yes, it is possible. Usually, only torrent traffic is encrypted. But you also have an option to access any website anonymously and hide IP when surfing the net. Just follow these instructions.
I know that many VPN and proxy servers keep logs. Is the same true of Pirate Ray?
No, we are not required to keep logs by law and we do not. Moreover, we regularly delete all temporary files from cache and disable disc caching where applicable. Thus, we provide you with the maximum security and privacy possible to ensure your torrent anonymity.
